La Viña Spring Wine Festival
April 27, 2024
La Viña Winery presents our annual Spring Wine Festival; open April 27 - 28, 2024; from noon to 7:00 PM. Over 20 wines will be available for tasting and purchase. Adult admission to the festival is $25 and includes a souvenir glass and a choice of 5 tastes or a full glass. There is a $10 admission charge for guests 12-20 years of age, and guests 11 and under are admitted free of charge.

Cinco de Mayo Fiesta
May 4 - 5, 2024
Spanish for "Fifth of May." This celebration is celebrated across the United States and Mexico. The date is observed in the U.S. as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. Held in Mesilla, NM. Arts and crafts, and food vendors line the plaza for the two day event. Mexican music fills the air for a fun celebration. Enjoy live Ballet Folklorico and Mariachi performances, art & crafts vendors, games, and traditional mexican food. On the plaza in Old Mesilla. Free to attend. More info coming soon.

Tamale Festival

The New Mexico Tamale Fest is returning to the land of enchantment featuring Tamale sampling from your favorite local food trucks/vendors + Mexican beer gardens + a night mercado + musica + games & ballet folklorica! Southern New Mexico Wine Festival
May 25 - 27, 2024
The New Mexico Wine Festival at the Doña Ana Fairgrounds is a Memorial Day weekend tradition, with over 20 wineries, great food and live local music, what's not to love. This is our second year featuring our garden theme, we welcome you to wander in the wine garden with us and enjoy the beautiful New Mexico sunshine. Sample over 200 wines from New Mexico's finest wineries. Find your favorite to enjoy by the glass. And purchase by the bottle or case with special Festival pricing. 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. An annual tradition, the Cherry Festival celebrates the more than 100-year history of cherries grown in the Sacramento Mountains. The annual Fourth of July Electric Light Parade. The parade begins at Apodaca Park, 801 E. Madrid Ave., travels south on Solano Avenue, east on Hadley Avenue, and ends a t the Maag Softball Complex. Hatch Chile Festival
September, 2024
Held annually on Labor Day weekend in Hatch, NM. The Hatch Chile Festival draws visitors from all over the country. There are vendors selling all sorts of foods, interesting arts and crafts, a carnival, horseshoe tournaments, and of course lots of chile. Hatch is famous for the chile it produces and with the Mesilla Valley being the chile capitol of the world, what better place to have a festival. More info coming soon.

Diez y Seis de Septiembre Fiesta
September, 2024
The celebration kicks off with a parade along Avenida de Mesilla. While vendor booths line the plaza offering a variety of arts, crafts and games. There will be mariachi music and folklorico and flamenco dancers, amusement rides, piñatas and the traditional greased pole climb, with a chance to win cash rewards.
