Travel to Gori, Georgia with Bob & Wilma

The infamous Gori, Georgia is the birthplace of the NEMESIS of the Free World, the birthplace of Josif Visarionovich Jugashvili aka Josef Stalin (Man of Steel).

Gori is an ancient town dating from a time before Christ and it is nither a large or an attractive town. The Stalin Museum is its only asset.

In this museum, in a room all its own, is Stalin's death mask,

his boyhood home is also there,

and the opulent private train car he traveled in while in power.

My ancestors had been a wealthy German merchant family in the USSR under Stalin and they had suffered greatly to the point that my great grandfather was forced into hiding in the dead of winter. He was eventually caught and sent to Siberia where he died.  STRANGE!! even just visiting the town not alone the museum, caused me great emotional stress and deep soul searching.
